Photo Competition Judges

Stevie Mann, of Stevie Mann Photography
Stevie is quite simply one of the most talented photographers around today. He is responsible for many of the dreamy, evocative images you see on the Saruni websites, having snapped our lodges, surroundings, culture and people for some years now. Able to capture the essence of Saruni in photos, Stevie is a natural choice of #WhyILoveSaruni judge.

Peter Behr of Africa Endorsed
Peter is one of the best guides in Kenya - an "old school" ex-professional hunter devoted to the protection of wildlife. With an unmatched archive of stories accumulated in a lifetime, his deep knowledge of Samburu and the Masai Mara make him the perfect safari companion and #WhyILoveSaruni judge.

Lorenzo Barelli, co-author of ‘Wings of Kenya’
Lorenzo has been a long-term friend of Saruni with repeated visits to Saruni lodges photographing over 700 birds as part of his research for the largest ever publication on birds in Kenya, ‘Wings of Kenya’. With such a keen eye for beauty in photos, he makes a great judge for our #WhyILoveSaruni photo competition.
